How to reach:-
From Hoshiarpur to K.D. college of
nursing –
Mahilpur is situated at a distance of 20 km from
Hoshiarpur and K.D. college of nursing comes just after
1 km from Mahilpur, near Indian oil petrol pump (on
Nawanshahr road)
From Nawanshhar, Garhshankar and Phagwara to K.D.
College of nursing.
Institute is situated 27 km from Nawanshahar on
Hoshiarpur road and from Garhshankar and Phagwara 20km
and 33km respectively.
Facilities/ Infrastructure :-
A). Our institute has all well furnished labs,
lecture theatres, library and computer lab.
B). Two buses are also available for student
transport facility.
C) We also have well furnished hostel for nursing
students.
D). A big kitchen garden is there just outside the
hostel where we saw all seasonal vegetables to
keep good health of students.
E). A big play ground is there in the college
premises.
F). Colleges also have canteen facility where
student can have tea, coffee etc. during their break
time.
G). Stationary items are also available in college
premises.
H). Institute also have parent 50 bedded “Krishna
Gandhi Multi-Specialty Hospital”, located on Garhshankar
to Nawanshahar Road.
Other
Information:-
a. Institute is running GNM as well as
B.Sc nursing course with the affiliation of 40 seats
from PNRC, INC and Punjab Government.
b. Future plan:-
Institute is also planning to start the ANM and Post
Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course.
